The Shri Venkateswara Temple in Tividale West Midlands was the chosen location for the Association of Tamil Speaking people UK annual celebrations.
The Association is non profit making, established for the sole purpose of promoting Tamil Language, Tamil Culture and Traditions. Created 30 years ago by a group of likeminded friends, it is still going strong! The Annual Day function is celebrated every September in the centre of the country so that people from all directions can attend.
It is a One day function with the 3 major components of the Ancient language Tamil. Iyal, Isai and Nadagam (literature, music and drama). The occasion was graced by a wonderful classical performance.
And a range of dance, music and drama
A well deserved refreshment
The High Sheriff was most honoured to be invited with The Deputy Lord Lieutenat Stewart Towe to attend and enjoy the celebrations chaired by Dr.Kandasamy Selvan.
